For everyday cleaning, simply wipe the coasters with a damp microfiber cloth and a drop of mild dish soap if needed. Avoid abrasive sponges, vinegar, or citrus-based cleaners, as the acidity can dull the natural stone's finish. Because slate is naturally porous, always pat them dry immediately with a lint-free towel rather than letting them air dry; this prevents unsightly water spots or mineral buildup from forming on the dark surface.
