Hi, I’m Dave. If there are two things that have defined my life, it’s a passion for design and a deep, lifelong love for animals. For 30 years, I’ve shared my home and heart with pets, so I know firsthand that they aren’t just animals—they are family.

I founded Trace & Taper to bridge the gap between high-end custom artistry and affordability. I believe everyone should have a beautiful way to honor their best friend without a massive price tag.

By combining 12 years of Photoshop expertise with 5 years of professional engraving experience, I personally ensure that every whisker, paw print, and unique feature is captured perfectly.

Preserving your memories is easy:

1. Order: Select your item through our shop.

2. Send: Email your favorite pet photo to traceandtaper@gmail.com.

3. Approve: We will email you a digital proof of your design to ensure it’s perfect.

4. Receive: Once you approve the design, your custom memento will be engraved and shipped within 3–5 business days.
